Project Description

Robinson River

Original Work – Acrylic on Canvas – 76cm x 101cm

Camping on a cliff edge on Seven Emu Station in the Northern Territory was a peaceful respite from the rough travel and packed caravan parks we had stayed in all through Queensland. Our secluded campsite overlooked the expansive river which was inhabited by a five metre crocodile. From our high vantage point we watched huge fish swim in the clear water below, we were visited by Rainbow Bee-eaters and sweet little Wood Swallows in a huddle trying to warm up in the cool of the morning.
